Cobbles and Setts are made from natural stone, such as granite, marble and sandstone, in a variety of finishes and colours. They are ideal for constructing borders, to extend circles and for creating curved pathways and intricate patterns.
Setts are usually available in three or four sizes within a pack, offering the versatility of unique random patterns. Finishes available include, rough, riven, sawn and tumbled. Setts were first used by the Romans, many towns and cities in Britain still have roads installed using setts, such as Bath, Chester, York and London to name a few.
Cobbles or cobblestones is the name given to rounded beach pebbles, and are usually 200-400 mm in size.
