How long will delivery take?

Depending on which delivery schedule you choose, pallet orders are delivered either in 3 - 5 or 5 – 7 working days. In extreme circumstances, some orders can take up to 10 working days, therefore please contact us to confirm delivery schedules if you are working to a time scale.

Do you offer Next Day delivery?

Please contact us for more information, providing we have the products in stock at our depot, and we receive the order before 10.00 am the previous day, we may well be able to offer Next Day delivery, there may be an additional cost for this service.

Do you offer Saturday delivery?

We do not normally offer weekend deliveries, but please feel free to contact us to discuss the possibility of a Saturday/weekend delivery.

Do you offer Bank Holiday deliveries?

We do not normally offer Bank Holiday deliveries.

How will I know when the goods are scheduled to arrive?

All pallet deliveries will be pre-booked with you, by text messaging, by the delivery company for a day that is mutually convenient. If you book a Next Day or Saturday delivery, the time will be agreed at the time of ordering.

Small non pallet deliveries will be delivered by mail or a courier, which will sent without prior notification.

Will I know the exact time of delivery?

The transport company will text to inform you of your delivery day and time, but deliveries are normally between 8 am and 6 pm. You will also be able to track your delivery via the UPN or Interlink Express websites.

What size of lorry is used for delivery?

Standard delivery is normally by 8 tonne vehicles – about the size of a large removal lorry. The dimensions of these vehicles are approximately: L 9.9 mt x W 2.5 mt x H 3.6 mt.

If this vehicle is too large for access to your delivery address, then please let us know at the time of placing your order as we can often offer smaller 7.5 tonne vehicles. The dimensions of these vehicles are approximately: L 7.10 mt x W 2.4 mt x H 3.2 mt.

In all cases, the vehicle must have clear access to the delivery address.

The goods will normally be unloaded from the back of the vehicle using a tail-lift,(a platform that lowers down). The pallets are then rolled off the vehicle, therefore it is very important that the ground is level and hard such as tarmac or concrete. Grass, compacted soil and gravel are not suitable areas for unloading.

It is important to note that the goods will usually be left kerb-side as the delivery company will not be able to take the large delivery vehicle onto your driveway due to the risk of damage to your property.

Please be sure to advise us in advance if you foresee any problems with the delivery as there will be costly redelivery fees if the delivery company has to make a further attempt to deliver as a result of potential problems not being reported in advance.

The photograph below provides an indication to the size of vehicle used.

Will I need to be at the delivery address to receive the delivery and will the driver require assistance?

We always request that you or your representative is at the delivery address to receive the goods. This is in case the delivery driver encounters any difficulties, with obstructions or parked cars blocking access for example. Therefore, if you or your representative is at the delivery address, these kinds of problems are usually resolved at the time of delivery. In certain situations, it may be necessary for you to assist the driver with offloading some of the goods manually. If this will cause you any difficulty, please let us know prior to the delivery.

Will my ordered goods arrive all together?

Normally all palletised goods, produced by the same manufacturer will arrive as one delivery presuming they have been ordered at the same time. Occasionally, exceptions to this rule will occur, however we will advise you of this in advance. Small non pallet deliveries will be delivered by mail or a courier, which will sent without prior notification, and may well be delivered at different times.

Will you deliver into my driveway or rear of the delivery address?

As above, we offer kerbside delivery as standard. However, the driver at his discretion may be able to deliver the pallet/pallets away from the kerb, depending on the ease of access and suitable surface the hand trolley will not wheel over gravel or soft ground.
